Description

IF you want the luxury of an island bed yet you’re also seeking a reasonably lightweight,
short caravan, take a look at this...

The length-saving bit of Lunar’s Lexon SI is in the en-suite area.

You step into the shower directly from the bedroom, on the off side; the washbasin and toilet compartment are
opposite. The door that divides the bedroom and en-suite area from the day space is the clever bit – it’s on a slant, to make the best use of the caravan’s length.

The bedroom has plenty of fl oor-space – and so does the living area.
To keep the body length to 5.7m, the front bed is simply a double.
It’s of the short settee variety which doesn’t create two single beds as an alternative.
That said, if your children are young, they can easily sleep on the settees as single beds.
But this caravan’s most desirable use is as a couples’ caravan – and it fi lls this role excellently!

Cooking facilities are a triple burner hob, grey-fronted grill and oven, plus microwave.
Although this caravan’s body length is only 5.7m, storage space is ample.
There’s that great cavern under the bed of course, plus a full complement of head lockers in the lounge.
You also have good-sized wardrobes each side of the bed, plus the usual lockers above the bed head.

The kitchen is a little short on storage space - no surprises there.

"Lunar Lexon SI"{
AT A GLANCE: Island-bed luxury in little over five and a half metres of lightweight caravan and still plenty of living space have some compromises in order to have
the luxury of a fixed bed in a short caravan.

You have a good-sized fridge plus a small central cupboard that contains an equally small cutlery drawer.
But think outside the box for a moment; if you find this drawer too small for all your cutlery, just buy a cutlery tray and pop it into the drawer that’s above the heater, under the TV table opposite.

There’s a lovely drinks cabinet above this table; it’s tinted glass-fronted and equipped with plenty of glass and bottle clips.
The front corner lights are cone-shaped, plain and pleasantly stark, adhering to the clean-lines theme of the décor.

Amid the market’s vast selection of shortlength, fi xed-bed models, the Lexon SI stands out on style!

But this model’s real strong point is the slanted partition between bedroom and living area that makes the best use of space.
Importantly, on test, its road manners proved to be excellent.
If you’re looking for a fi xed-bed caravan that’s light in weight...... this Lexon is a good place to start!!!
